Description
The Circular Futures Lab seeks to establish a collaborative platform to explore African-centered pathways for sustainable materials and societal transformation. Focusing on material practices such as plastics recycling, waste valorization, and sustainable manufacturing, the initiative examines how these practices can shape circular economies and more equitable futures across the continent.
Coordinated by Dr. Onitiri from the University of Lagos, the Lab will prioritize knowledge exchange, case study documentation, and collaborative workshops in its early stage, drawing on voluntary contributions and partnerships to build a foundation for long-term impact.
