Brightcon 2026, hackathon and courses

Registration fees

• Physical registration fee inclusion: The physical registration fee includes all coffee breaks, lunches, and the conference dinner on Wednesday evening.

• Course policy: Registration for specialized courses or workshops is only permitted in combination with full conference attendance. Single-course registration is not available.

• Online attendance is free for participants from low- and middle-income countries, as defined by the World Bank 2026 classifications.

Invoice and payment

Once you submit your registration form, please allow 1–2 business days for us to review it and issue your invoice. As soon as it is ready, you will receive an email notification with instructions to complete your payment via bank transfer. Full bank details can be found on our main registration page.

Invitation letter for visa

If you require a personal invitation letter for visa purposes, please complete your registration first, then email your request to the organizing committee at brightcon@d-d-s.ch. Please specify all information required by your local embassy or visa authorities.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificates of Attendance will be issued to all on-site participants following the conclusion of the event. Your certificate will specify your exact registration track (e.g., Conference Only, Conference + Hackathon, or Conference + Courses). Once generated, your certificate will be available for secure download directly from the main registration page.

Cancellation policy:

• On or before August 20, 2026 (More than 30 days before): Eligible for a full refund.

• Between August 21 and September 4, 2026, inclusive (16 to 30 days before): Eligible for a 50% refund.

• On or after September 5, 2026 (15 days or fewer before): No refunds will be issued.
